0edab2b20f Allow CPU affinity mask up to 64 processors in Windows. Remove call to SetThreadAffinityMask as SetProcessAffinityMask limits all threads in process. Report error code. pthread_setaffinity_np returns non-zero if failure; works also with OSX as it reports KERN_SUCCESS which is zero. 2021-07-06 16:47:18 +03:00

909d5e64a5 Added hash-mode: AES-128/192/256-ECB NOKDF 
This mode is probably very rare in real-life scenarios,
but it is a nice template for kernels which do
not use a KDF,
or use AES,
or simple fast hashes with lookup tables
or simple optimized kernels in general

b30d55c5d9 Removed LZMA "Windows.h" capitalized file name workaround used to cross compile Windows binaries from Linux hosts. 
This breaks compiling windows binaries if the underlaying filesystem is not case sensitive. An example would be using /mnt/c folder under WSL.
Any update on the LZMA SDK needs to be post processed with this command: sed -i 's/<Windows.h>/<windows.h>/' deps/LZMA-SDK/C/*.c deps/LZMA-SDK/C/*.h

Fix the processing for constant salt 
KNX IP Secure uses a constant salt, which require the use of `OPTS_TYPE_DEEP_COMP_KERNEL`. This commit adds the required options and adjusts the indexing of the esalt accordingly. The attempt at an optimized kernel has been removed as requested in the PR feedback. Additionally, minor formatting improvements have been made.

7252091d3b Correct check for gz header. 
gzip format is described in rfc1952.
From there, first 2 bytes (0x1f8b) are header;
next is Compression method (0x08 for deflate, this is the general used method);
and 4th byte is Flags. Some compression tools don't set this and we can't process the gzips.

These are almost all taken from error messages that are specific to one
particular module, and turned into generic errors that can be used for any
module.  It seemed like a better idea to provide generic messages than to
encourage infinite proliferation of error codes (which would probably end up
blowing the 255 value threshold sooner or later).  It doesn't seem necessary
to provide module-specific error messages for things like "Invalid <X>
filesize", since users should already know what sort of file they're asking
to be parsed.

b4204d265d Allow module_hash_binary_parse to report a fatal error 
If module_hash_binary_parse is completely unable to successfully parse out
any hashes, up until now the output has been

```
Hashfile 'foo': Success
```

which is less than helpful.

This patch allows (but does not require) m_h_binary_parse to report a useful
error response, by returning a negative value.  Modules which continue to
return '0 hashes' will get the same less-than-useful behaviour they always
hace.

I've also modified the LUKS module to report a useful error, as a proof of
concept.

Further expansions on this could include:

* Applying similar behaviour to module_hash_binary_count, so it too can
  report errors when trying to count hashes.  This would require more
  co-ordinated change, because m_h_binary_count already uses -1 to indicate
  a system error.

* Allow and encourage modules to print their own errors and warnings during
  parsing.  This would allow for situations where a single hash in a
  multi-hash file could be reported as malformed, without having to fail the
  whole parse.  However, implementing this would, I expect, require modules
  to have access to `hashcat_ctx`, which...  yeah.  Not so straightforward.

Fix debugedit - canonicalization unexpectedly shrank by one character 
Hello,
As some paths in the src/Makefile are containing trailing slash "/", this is causing that during compile time some sources get referenced with double "//" in the path. On RHEL7 this causing issue to debugedit and is reported as error during the RPM package build.

Please consider adding this patch to prevent issue with debugedit on RHEL7
if path during compilation contains // in the reference to the file, the debugedit then reports unexpected difference.

This is the sample error messahe from RHEL7 build:

outfile remove: fix hash parsing 
The feature to add cracks to hashcat.outfiles/ wasn't working correctly with the latest betas because the hash:pass was not split correctly and therefore not correctly passed to the parsing function. The whole line was passed instead of only the hash.
This should fix the problem of splitting the lines and therefore correctly parsing the outfiles.
