a3759d77cf Fix a problem with 'make install' on macOS if user has a GNU sed before 
the native one in PATH (we would end up giving incompatible options).

Also omit the '-s' in LFLAGS for macOS, the linker just warns about that
option being obsolete and ignored.

1c5915cae3 remove special time handling in hashcat. 
There's a way to get 64-bit time_t and 64-bit stat in MinGW, so use that.

190fc9bf17 Deny warnings with -Wno instead of commenting them out. 
Ease of use change. I usually replace -W with -Weverything and silencing these warnings involves adding a bunch of -Wno.

Also sorted alphabetically.

5e52f20867 * Added Darwin OS version conditional in order to use sed instead of gsed if OS version is macOS Sierra (v16). 
* Added a SEDOPS variable in order to manage BSD sed command syntax. BSD sed need explicitily especify a parametre for -i option.

FreeBSD ports need to respect flags passed down by the build system.
This enables FreeBSD hashcat port to use upstream hashcat source code
patch-free.

d2c76d9320 This commit splits the native hashcat binary into the hashcat library and hashcat frontend. 
I've tested this with Linux and Msys2. I hope it will work on FreeBSD, OSX and Cygwin as well.
There's also four new dedicated makefile targets for install: install_library install_hashcat install_docs install_shared
Also the main_shared.c and its makefile target have been removed, as the main frontend is the best example possible

62fc436a4f extend global CFLAGS and LDFLAGS to aid distro packaging 
This preserves globally defined CFLAGS and LDFLAGS and simply
extends those variables to aid distro based packaging toolchains
and predefined distro wide defaults like SSP, relro etc.

this re-fixes 7f8aaf7430 after it was
somehow undone ;)

7f8aaf7430 extend global CFLAGS and LDFLAGS to aid distro packaging 
This preserves globally defined CFLAGS and LDFLAGS and simply
extends those variables to aid distro based packaging toolchains
and predefined distro wide defaults like SSP, relro etc.

Make sure the INSTALL_FOLDER path exists. 
This is only likely to come up when using DESTDIR to point to an
alternate directory tree, or if the user has pointed at some
exotic PREFIX for some reason, but should be harmless in the
normal case.

Added DESTDIR support. 
This is a common thing for distros or build environments that want
to install to a sandbox location as part of testing or package-building.
It should be a harmless/no-op change when make is called without
DESTDIR defined.

This makes use of git export-subst to insert the current ref names.
If git describe fails because because an extracted tarball is used
to build from source then the fallback will get called and the last
part of the ref names will be used for the version variable.

if it is a git checkout and HEAD is the current tag:

    v3.00-beta

If it is a git checkout and HEAD is ahead of the latest tag:

    v3.00-beta-36-g24a6095

If it is a tarball from a tag created via 'git archive HEAD --format=tar':

    v3.00-beta

If it is a tarball from the master created via 'git archive HEAD --format=tar':

    master

NOTE: If a tarball is manually created (without git archive) then the
version will "$Format:%D$", however before this commit it would not be
possible to build a release tarball at all (because git describe would fail)

Tarballs that you manually want to distribute on your website need to be either
downloaded from github and re-uploaded or need to be create via git-archive:

gzip:

git archive --format=tar HEAD|gzip > oclHashcat.tar.gz

bzip2:

git archive --format=tar HEAD|bzip2 > oclHashcat.tar.bz2

You can also use a tag for git archive like:

git archive --format=tar v2.01|bzip2 > oclHashcat-2.01.tar.bz2
